2006 Ford GT

Penned by Camilo Pardo—chief designer of the Ford GT program and a graduate of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies—the 2005–2006 Ford GT was a retro-inspired supercar that paid tribute to Ford’s Le Mans-dominating GT40 while delivering modern supercar performance. With its aluminum spaceframe chassis, supercharged V8, and unmistakable styling, the Ford GT was an instant classic the moment it hit showroom floors.

This 2006 example, finished in Tungsten Silver over Ebony leather, is a well-preserved and highly upgraded three-option car. It shows just 2,600 original miles on the odometer and presents in exceptional condition throughout. Originally delivered to Bradley Ford Lincoln in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, the car remained under their ownership until it was sold at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in 2022—technically making it a single-owner vehicle for the majority of its life.

Factory-equipped with all three available options—the McIntosh audio system, painted racing stripes, and forged BBS lightweight wheels—this GT has since undergone over $40,000 in thoughtful upgrades and servicing, all performed by Blue Chip Services in Englewood, Colorado.

In 2023, a Fi exhaust system was installed, giving the car a deeper, more aggressive tone. At the same time, a smaller supercharger pulley and custom tune by Unleashed Tuning were added, unlocking additional performance from the 5.4-liter supercharged V8. Supporting mechanical work included new drive belts, a replacement alternator, fresh spark plugs, engine air filters, a new oil pump drive belt, and a new battery. Cooling, gearbox, brake, and engine oil systems were fully flushed. The power steering pump feed lines and rear outer tie rod ends were also replaced, followed by a precision alignment.

To further refine handling and daily usability, the car was fitted with KW V3 coilover shocks paired with a hydraulic lift system—offering improved cornering agility without compromising ground clearance.

The car is accompanied by a set of custom gold HRE wheels in addition to its factory BBS alloys.

With just 2,600 miles from new, documented ownership history, tasteful upgrades, and comprehensive servicing, this 2006 Ford GT is a standout example of one of America’s most revered modern performance icons—ideal for both the discerning collector and the driver who values raw, analog exhilaration.
